VIDEO: Haunting Memorial for Bicycle Safety

Traveling around busy streets you may have seen a stripped down bicycle, painted white and locked to a traffic sign. Ghost Bikes are part of a global movement to publicly memorialize bicyclists who have been killed in a traffic collision. There are several in the Twin Cities and 531 around the world. TCsidewalks blogger Bill Lindeke says it's a gesture from the bicycle community to raise safety awareness and inform policy discussions about street design and public space.
