It's a challenge to provide quality pharmacy services to rural areas around the state. After the independent pharmacy in Adrian went out of business two years ago, access to medication meant an inconvenient drive to a neighboring city. But last year, a new telepharmacy made it possible to keep a Sterling Pharmacy in town without a licensed pharmacist on sight. Brian Hagen told us about the first telepharmacy in southwest Minnesota and why many small communities around the state are showing interest in starting their own.
