Video: What’s for Lunch?

The Minneapolis public school district has improved the quality of food served in the cafeteria, now providing a variety of fresh meat, fruits and produce to students to get them to start eating a full and healthy lunch to increase brain activity in the classroom. Many schools now get fresh foods from local Minnesota farmers, providing the widening locally grown movement a market for their produce. Minneapolis is the latest district in a long line of metro and rural schools to go with a greener and healthier food menu.
