Kitchen Table Conversations: FarmWise for Clean Water
Tackling an issue like agricultural runoff and water quality is a long-term goal, and it's difficult to pinpoint the role for the public sector. Lark Weller and Peggy Knap founded Minnesota FarmWise, a farmer-to-farmer mentorship program aimed at improving statewide water quality practices, starting at local levels.
In doing so, they hope to improve water quality literacy for all Minnesotans, and teach us that all of our decisions impact water quality.
