VIDEO: Lessons from Our Ancestors
Look around the state, many of the great things you see were originally introduced in Northern European countries like Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, and Germany and adapted in Minnesota. From cooperative businesses and housing to our system of social safety nets, there are a multitude of lessons we've learned from our ancestors. However, there is much more to be adapted from the old countries' new economic and social models that would advance Minnesota's public policy.
