VIDEO: A city corn crop all farmers would celebrate

Across the Midwest, few farm fields look as good as the corn and soybean research crops on the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus. Despite the USDA's announcement that the drought has cut deeply into this year’s harvest prospects, Minnesota farmers are expecting to harvest an average of 155 bushels per acre; more than Iowa's average at 141 bushels per acre, and nationwide at 123 bushels per acre. The St. Paul campus is expecting 200+ bushels per acre.
