Meg Reid, Undergraduate Research Fellow

Meg Reid

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Meg Reid is a sophomore at Macalester College in St. Paul. She is studying Biology with a concentration in Community & Global Health.

As an original interest in the way that diseases affect the body and society developed into a passion for public health, Meg began to focus on health care policy. She spent one semester devoted to the health care reform movement and comparitive health care politics. She is especially interested in women’s health and sexual and reproductive issues.

When she’s not studying public health, Meg plays her ukulele and celebrates the fact that she is done with Organic Chemistry. She loves living in the Twin Cities, and she is looking forward to delving into local health care policy with Minnesota 2020. Find her on twitter at www.twitter.com/megisla.
